BACKGROUND — DIRECTOR MANUAL:

BOARD FINANCIAL REVIEW

The Board shall review Association financial practices annually by the following method:

1. At the July summer board meeting, the president shall appoint a committee that includes at least one parent, teacher, and principal director. 

2. The Committee will meet at the KASC office or virtually to review financial practices before the November board meeting.

3. The Committee will present an annual report at the November board meeting.

Steven Bauer called the KASC Board Meeting to order at 6:33 pm.  

AGENDA APPROVAL: Mike Wilson motioned for approval, Bill Bradford seconded; approved

MINUTES APPROVAL:  Angela Ballinger made a motion to approve July 2023 minutes as distributed, Bryan Flachbart seconded; approved

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: Lynne Slone provided a heads up on the upcoming session

KASC VITAL SIGNS: Board members worked in small group to review and discuss the September and October KASC Vitals. Small groups took notes and shared when back with the full group.

BOARD MEMBERS AS AMBASSADORS: Individual board members recorded what role they could take and what they'd need to do that work.

ADJOURNMENT: Erin Weaver moved to adjourn the meeting, Joey Norman seconded; approved
